Cameron Johnson is the owner and lead instructor of Dance 101 - VA. Originally from South Africa, Cameron’s dance journey began at a young age and has spanned decades. With over 47 years of competitive dancing and teaching experience, Cameron has a true passion for sharing his love of dance with others. He specializes in social dancing, competition dance, and wedding/show choreography. Whether you're looking to enhance your dancing for an upcoming event or dive into competition-level training, Cameron's expert guidance ensures that every lesson is customized to meet your individual goals and needs.

Having represented South Africa in various international competitions and now coaching dancers in the U.S., Cameron brings a wealth of knowledge to the studio. His teaching philosophy is rooted in creating a welcoming, supportive environment where every dancer, no matter their experience level, can grow at their own pace. Cameron enjoys working with students to prepare them for competitions, weddings, and other special events.
